The one and only, R&B music superstar Usher came through to Scotiabank Arena in Toronto this past Monday and Tuesday night as part of his “Past Present Future” tour. We were there live on the Monday night covering it all and just taking in the absolutely undeniable talent that Usher has. Being an amazing dancer is great, being an amazing singer is great, being an amazing showman, also great – but being able to be all of those things at once, that’s ultra rare, and that’s exactly what Usher possesses.

With a setlist of about 40 songs lasting just around 2 hours in length, the show was off the hook and we all got to hear all the classic hits that Usher’s produced over all these years like “Confessions Part II”, “You Make Me Wanna…”, “U Remind Me”, “OMG”, “U Got It Bad”, and so many others. The night was full of big time vibes, especially for someone like me that grew up to Usher’s music all throughout the 2000s.

Usher is an extremely talented dude, and even me saying that might be an understatement because after all these years it doesn’t look like he’s even remotely lost a step. Watching him dance, sing, perform, run around, and even roller blade perfectly was amazing to watch, and he really gave the fans their money’s worth because this show was worth every single penny.

Toronto’s own, the OG, Kardinall Offishall came out to surprise Usher and performed his smash hit “Dangerous” for the crowd and he also brought out Masicka straight out of Jamaica with him. The only downside is that this shifted the show a bit, and Usher didn’t end up performing “My Boo” or “I Need A Girl” which are definitely two of my fav tracks of his, but it’s all good in the end because we got to hear plenty of his Past and Present music, and I’m hoping to hear even more come out in the Future – get it, just like the tour name “Past Present Future” – anyways I think it’s best we end it off here LOL!
