UK’s own, Central Cee aka Cench, brought his “Can’t Rush Greatness” tour to Toronto’s History event venue this past Saturday, for night one of two nights there. There’s just something about that UK Rap that brings out all the vibes because the fans were going crazy the whole time, he easily could’ve just stepped back and let everyone rap his tracks, because the fans knew every single word.
Cench performed hits like “Sprinter”, “Doja”, “6 for 6”, “UK Rap”, and more. At some point mid-way through his set he sat down and chilled out while the spotlight started lighting up the balcony, and who other than Cench’s boy, it was the 6 God himself, Drake. Drake performed his massive hit “Nokia” and obviously the fans knew all the lyrics. After the performance Drake took a few moments to show love to Central Cee for putting in all the work over the years. It’s like that one line from “6 for 6” which says “put in the work for years for this, this ain’t no coincidence”, and it’s far from a coincidence that Central Cee has reached his level of fame. Before Drake passed it back to Cench, he announced that for the first time in years, OVO Fest was coming back this Summer!
